Christian Media Bits is a site dedicated to all things in Christian Media. After several years working with other Christian community websites I really was longing to work on another project – about 5 or 6 years ago I began planning with some writers, community big-wigs, but life never seemed to really line up and get things rolling, the site in turn was left to sit by the side of the road, going no-where.

Fast-forward to the start of 2009, I began working with the idea again but again, life hit once again taking up my time and no-go — recently though things have just sort of fell into place and here today sits the first draft of what I hope in time will continue to change and evolve into a website where people can come to get information, contribute to discussions, and be blessed by the time here – but not always with lofty bit college type papers to get you to read for an hour, but the bits, the small tiny tid-bits you are looking for, but I won’t lie – there may be a few thousand bits now and again :)

The Goal

Is really quite simple – provide a flow of information. The primary areas things will start off with area as follows:

  • Reading – A slew of Christian authors out there, be it fiction, non-fiction, a review of a new translation of the bible, or even Christian based comics, if you can read it, there is a place for it here!
  • Listening – From the wide range of Christian Music to Christian Comedians – those who have ears to hear, let them hear.
  • Watching – New movies, New Web Shows, Music Videos, and covering “secular” movies to let parents know whats out there and safe/not safe for their kids (as well as maybe themselves)
  • Surfing – The web is a GREAT resource for all of the above, so we hope to cover other websites, other ministries, tools,  get you plugged in with great things online.
  • Interact – Our online forum that’s new and ready to grow! I hope you stop by!

And it will all be quite the journey, one of which I do hope you will join us in taking – as with all things we are very grateful for any feedback / suggestions.

Thanks for visiting, and I sincerely hope you enjoy your stay!
