I have communicated with our bat expert in Toledo for many years, and he abides by these bat removal principles:
- Always perform a proper live exclusion.
- Never use poisons or fumigants or kill bats.
- Never use traps or attempt to relocate bats.
- Never do a removal during the maternity season.
- Seal all entry points shut with guarantee.
- Offer attic cleanup and decontamination.
- Properly Ohio licensed and insured.
Before you hire anyone, including our tech at 419-775-4945, talk to them, and make sure that they understand what they are doing, and that they have experience. Be sure that they do abide by the principles I outlined above. This is not just for the sake of the bats - I'm no tree hugger - it's for the sake of doing the job correctly, for you and your property. The fact that it's good for the bats as well is a lucky coincidence. And really, bats are good animals, which I'm sure you realize. I hope you have a good experience with your Toledo bat control project. You can email me personally if you have any problems with our tech, and I will talk to him, but I doubt that will be necessary. Good luck!

Hello. I am interested in speaking with someone in regards to bats inhabiting my back porch. They have obviously made a home in a very tiny crack between our house and the roof of the porch. The exterminator verified that the droppings on the porch are those of a bat. I am very concerned as I have two small children and from what I have read, the droppings are harmful. I am also concerned in that their new home is directly above the door that we mainly use. Please contact me to set up an appointment or even to advise. Thank you very much.
Hi, We do not currently have bats in our attic. We are having our bathroom renovated and when they removed the tile/sheetrock, there was evidence of some type of feces. It is all black and rained down from the attic onto the insulation and wood. My husband went up in the attic and there is no evidence of any bats living there now. We bought the house 3 years ago so they may have had bats and had them removed. Since there is no disclosure, we wouldn't know. We don't have anyone in the Greenville, SC area that does bat removal or at least they weren't on your list. I contacted an extermination company and they will have to do an estimate for just containing what was inside the wall. The insulation has been removed that had a lot of the droppings on it, however, it still remains on the wood from floor to ceiling. Thank you.
